Coffee Musings 022207

Doug Flutie's Number (22)! Who else had Flutie fever in the mid-eighties, eh? Anyhoo, I was able to buy a can of LaVazza light roast at Whole Foods, and I wondered why it cost so much less than Illy Coffee. It has to do with flavor.

Also, I usually listen to slow delightful songs in the morning, think Buena Vista's Social Club or Putumayo Presents compilations. I'm listening to Pearl Jam's Yield right now, and it just gets better and better with each listen. The irony of the words reflect an inner positive spirit it seems to me, and the music is right there with it.

I usually needlepoint my parents something for Christmas, and who knows what I give my sister and brother and their families until it happens. My twin and her family are receiving two more needlepoints.

Aha! I'm going to knit them throws with this type of yarn. Look at those wonderful colors! I don't think it will flow through my hands like butter because it is only wool, but it will be nice to look at. We'll see, I have a few more baby blankets to finish. Should be fun though. Keep me out of trouble :)
