Coffee Musings - 031507

March is going by so fast, and it's my favorite month. Yesterday, I was babysitting my twin's daughters. Her husband is on Navy Duty for a couple weeks, and she is in law school, so I took the day off from work. I was able to be there when her kids came home, and I was able to walk her youngest to kindergarten.

I totally gained brownie points yesterday. Not only did I play ball with the dogs, and pet the dogs and the cat throughout the day, but I even played a few minutes of little people with the youngest. It may not have been long enough to register with her, but I definitely felt it all crouched down among the little people trying to figure out which one goes where. Little people have definitely advanced since I was a kid :)

Also, I watched as my nieces shot some hoops in the backyard, and I played some baseball with them. I was very impressed with their throwing arms. In fact, one challenged that I couldn't hit the balls she threw, and I'm like, ha, I'm 38, and this is so old school. I hit 1 of the 3. It was so humiliating, exasperated by the fact that when I turned the bat to try for the 3rd throw, I cut my right hand with the nail of my left thumb. It was so pathetic. Again, I gained brownie points, though :)
