I just baked German Chocolate Coconut-Pecan cookies from the Nancy Baggett book, The All-American Cookie Book. They are good. They are rustic looking. I guess I excel at finding the recipes for rustic looking cookies, because drop cookies are a breeze compared to other cookies that are either double baked, or need to firm up in the fridge. Just mix and bake for the most part. Sometimes I want to firm the dough up so I put the dough in the fridge, but with this dough I just mixed, and baked. I get to bring them to work tomorrow, so that's good. I just want to finish these poetry first drafts. Ohmygawd! It's taking forever, and it's all my fault. I'm going to be more disciplined so I can move on to other poetry projects.
