Coffee Musings - 061207

I've been having a hard time sleeping. I don't know if it's because I look forward to the future, which means I'm not living in the present OOOPs, or if I intake caffeine at too late a time. I don't know what it is. However, in order to combat this insomnia I decided to look at the ultimate models of how to get to sleep - babies. I used to work at a child care over 10 years ago. Rocking helps, so I rock slightly in bed. Also, when a baby is rocked what they are looking at on the ceiling goes back and forth back and forth back and forth. So, I looked at the ceiling fan go around and around and around and around, and that's how I got to sleep. So, with a little rock, and a little rolling of the ceiling fan, I was able to go to sleep.

As I'm writing this I'm listening to a PodCast of all things! It's NPR's All Songs Considered, and was released June 6th. Pretty cool. I'm excited that I can listen to podcasts as I work from home. I probably will hear more than listen, but at least I'll get bits and pieces as I'm working, and be exposed to more.
