Coffee Musings - 070707

I made sure to be up at 7-7-07 at 7:07:07 am. :)

It's going to be in the 90s today, and my air conditioning doesn't work. I have a plan though. I'll spend from 10am-5pm in the public library. Good thing since I have many books to read, and I should write poetry. From 5pm onward, maybe I'll see a movie, or just go to a cafe.

Tomorrow I'm going to spend as much of the day as possible in a museum downtown. Then back to a cafe. I definitely can't cook much over the next couple days. Should be interesting. I hope I don't get too dehydrated as in heart palpitations. The weather doesn't just make me hot, but it makes me lose valuable nutrients or something in my blood. It truly sucks life from me.

I baked shortbread a couple days ago. Due to the weather, and my broken AC, I haven't been able to cover them in the two types of chocolate ganache. I have to say, they are quite tasty as is.
