I'm still reading Heat by Bill Buford, and the more I read the more I like it. He's inspiring me to learn to make fresh pasta. Of course I have many books on baking bread, and even more on pastry/cookie baking, so maybe that's where I should start. Either or, the future looks full of good taste.
