2 years ago today I attended the Katrina Benefit at the HOB in Chicago. Robert Plant opened for Pearl Jam. I still have the t-shirt, but not the ticket :)

I realized that as we view accessories to our bodies i.e., hair accessories, jewelry, shirts, jeans, shoes, etc., and how we view accessories to baking i.e., apple corer, salad spinner, etc., so should we view accessories to life.

What do accessories add - they add color, they add convenience, but mostly they add fun! An accessory to life may be a mocha or a trip. An accessory to life is an event; a graduation party, the first kiss. The foundation of stories, the events, the details, those are the accessories to life. They add a little color, a little pizazz to the 24 hours that make up the day.
