Coffee Musings - 101007

Happy Belated B-Day to B-Rob! His 30th was yesterday :)

I worked on my part-time job in bookstore resume yesterday. Thank goodness for email, as I'll just send it in. I realized that where I want to work, I don't go so very often because it's at least a 15-minute walk from the metro. However, if I have a reason to go i.e., paycheck then I would go that's all there is too it. Also, I realized that I have a lot of contemporary computer experience; i.e., produce podcasts, blogs, upload information via content management system, manage data via association management system, you know stuff like that. I thought my resume looked pretty wired :)

I'm reading Snow again by Orhan Pamuk. I'm rereading it for a book club at the Silver Spring branch of the Montgomery County Public Library. Should be an interesting book club discussion. I wonder how strong this book club is. It's cool to go to ones that are attended by many people. The ones at Politics and Prose I've attended are usually pretty full. Even if I don't get a job there, I would start to attend at least one book club or knitting group/month.
