Coffee Musings - 122907

I was so happy to be caffeinated this morning I rushed to the computer to post this blog. I was sidetracked by the 10 best book lists from the New York Times Book Review, and the Washington Post. hahahahaha I forgot to post before I turned my computer off! Wonder of wonderful things that coffee does to us :)

There are two books on both lists:

The Savage Detectives by Roberto Bolano; and
Tree of Smoke by Denis Johnson.

Luckily both are fiction. I'll start with those as my library searches. I made a resolution to not buy books. Shouldn't be too hard as I'm part of a town and county library system. Growing up I hung out in libraries, and I rarely bought books until I moved to Seattle. Time to get back to old habits for many good reasons. Whether in an independent bookstore or a library it's always a treasure hunt. Also, there's always another book to read if I can't find what I'm looking for. That's the best thing about books - there are so MANY to read!
