Coffee Musings 021807

This morning's cup of coffee seems to taste better than last night's cup of coffee. It's the same roast, the same milk, maybe the water filter near my sink was having trouble last night. Actually, I think it's more of a morning coffee versus evening coffee type of scenario. In other words, I need to keep this Illy Coffee Medium Roast for my morning coffee as it's just wonderful, and I feel the warm fuzzy coffee love this morning. However, maybe night is the time for adventure, a little dark roast to emphasize the mysteries of shadows. Maybe it's time for LaVazza in the night. I'm not particularly partial to dark roast, but I'll buy a can, and test my theory; Illy Coffee for the morning, LaVazza for the night.

Also, to make life fun, I'll put them in separate plastic containers without marking them. I would need to know them by smell and color of grounds. It shouldn't be that hard, but at least a couple senses will be utilized.

Also, I'm one skein away from finishing my first Project Linus baby blanket. I knitted it a deep purple in the chevron pattern. It's taking a while. Much longer than they usually take, but I've been doing a lot of other things. Also, I realized that mono-colored blankets aren't the most fun to knit. I've been knitting with an incredibly beautiful multi-colored wool over the past year, and sometimes I would just stop knitting to look at the yarn. It took my breath away. When I knitted with that yarn before I went to bed I ended up with gorgeously colored dreams. So, note to self, multi-colored yarn for knitting projects is the way to go. I will enjoy knitting with it more, and consequently, the project may be completed in less time. I have yarn already picked out for two more blankets, and they are beautiful. I was planning on using a differerent yarn when I went into Stitch DC, but then I saw this yarn, and I just HAD to use it for something, and I knew exactly what I was going to use it for.

I haven't used my camera in about 2 years, and I bought it about 2 years ago. Go figure. Anyway, it's not digital, and I went from fully manual to this hybrid thing. If I figure out, the manual part, I'll take photographs of the blankets when I'm done, have the photographs put to a disk, upload them, and then post them. That would be pretty cool :)

Talk about beautiful check this Free Hugs youtube out.
