My twin's going to be married 15 years at the end of the month. Can you believe it?! I just sent them an anniversary card. When my parents celebrated their 15th I was about 9 or so, and I bought them a glass/crystal liquid measuring cup. I don't know what I'll do for my twin, as my brother is celebrating his 15th wedding anniversary in September so I have to get him the same thing. I guess a liquid measuring cup won't fly as a present from a 38 year old, eh?

I was just out and about on Thursday night so I decided to try a new yarn (eros), and possibly make something for my oldest niece for Christmas. I used a #9 needle, and it was hard to find where the stitch was on the needle. I was clenching my jaw so hard as I was trying to find it that I woke up with a hurt tooth, took some painkiller, and called in sick on Friday. Relaxing knitting obviously involves yarn that rolls like butta ONLY. :) I was able to find a skein of the yarn I want to use to knit throws, and it is what it is. It is all wool so it won't flow like butta between my hands. However, it will probably be interesting to work with. I can at least try one Christmas throw with it.
