Sweets Musings - 042207

Happy Belated Earth Day! I baked chocolate chip scones. While I was in a cafe, I asked myself, how can I honor the victims of VT, the soldiers in Iraq, and earth day all at the same time? I decided I wouldn't eat breakfast out, but eat in (earth day), and make it contemplative time. One batch of scones could last me a week.

The scones are good. Remember if you bake scones all liquids must be cold. I usually warm milk/eggs until they are room temperature. Don't do it for scones. They ended up flat. I got the receipe from Southern Lady's Tea Time magazine. It was pretty good.
