Happy 96th Birthday Grandma!
I've been visiting the different blogs/website/podcast page for Compassionate Cooks. I LOVE how the similar logos between the different subjects available have similar design looks. I hope to have my podcast started by the Autumn Solstice, but it will include 3 different subjects within 1 podcast which are books/food/PJ-Running. The Compassionate Cook has a blogger blog, and a wordpress blog, and a ton of ways that people can feed into her podcast. I've never seen so many little options for podcast feeders. I mean look at the little buttons on the right. I want to model my blog marketing on hers. I don't plan on having a blog for 30 minutes on one subject, but maybe down the road.
July 1st I start my multi-year project nextstopgraduateschool. I will read 200 books with the expectation that I will know why I want to attend graduate school at the end of the project. I've looked into the University of Maryland Graduate School program in Journalism. There is the option for online journalism which is what interests me at this time. In about 4 years either I'll be very good at the online journalism, or I'll have a different interest. I also like how NPR has cute little icons for each subject. I'm trying to incorporate that into my paid job where we are trying to develop podcasts with the intention that they may be worthy of continuing education. We'll see.
