I baked Lemony Almond Bars as found in King Arthur Flour Cookie Cookbook. Hmmmm, did I live before now! Ohmygawd! They are so good, so refreshing with the lemon juice I squeezed, and the lemon zest I zested.
At Tullys in Seattle I always had an almond bar thing, and this is sweeter with the lemons, but it takes me back to that wonderful almond bar from many years past. What a treat!
