I'm reading Atonement again. I'll be ready for it when the movie comes out. I became a fan of James McAvoy with Becoming Jane. The writing is particular, the scenes well mapped. However, with writing as poetry I am inspired to write in a poetical prose. I've done it a little here, but how come it's not affecting me more? Am I tired in spirit? A Pat Barker book Double Vision, with incredible writing inspired me to write. However, the writing in Atonement I'm kindof kicking and screaming to find words that express my gratitude to the writing while writing my own voice. The writing in Atonement is exceptional.

I need to start writing poetry more, and increase it to short stories.
