My friend turns 40 today. Happy Birthday, S! Well, it will be my and my twin's turn about this time next year. My sister turned 40 today, and I have another sister and brother who turned 40 within the past 4 years. So, it's like a trend.

I'm still reading Heat, and I'm still convinced that something is wrong with the professional culinary industry. Violence/shame/humiliation do not make good spices. Time to reinvent how employees are treated within the professional culinary industry, and then on to the path of paradise. It will not be tread with violence/shame/humiliation.
