Coffee Musings - 092507

I didn't have a good night's sleep, but that's because I took a nap in the evening. Who'd knew that would affect my sleep pattern. I'm sortof surprised, but not really, that I woke up footloose and fancy free. This usually happens after I drink one of my super fruit shakes, which is what I did last night. All fruit just goes in a food processor, and there you go. I wanted to read and then run. Running is better in the evening because if I sweat a lot, I'm not rushed in the shower to get to work.

I did read poetry again, this morning. Yippee! That's two days in a row. The book I read was The Light Comes Slowly by Edith Shiffert. I decided to devote my lunch time to either writing haiku or photography so I can get my Ms. Haiku blog up in gear. It's the only way. When I wrote oodles and oodles of poetry I was doing it so that I wouldn't be home. I hated my apartment. I would just sit somewhere in between work shifts and write poetry. I have to get back to that.
