Well, I will be going through a major life change. I was waffling at it, but then I thought it's just like those people that have to lose a lot of weight, and actually stick to the plan. It's called living a life of less financial burden. It will be a dramatic change as it will affect how I thought I have been good to others, and good to myself. For instance, I will stop shopping at Whole Foods, and instead buy from Safeway, focus on what is cheap i.e., non-organic. This is a big shift because for 12 years I've lauded the benefits or buying organic for health of self and earth. Also, I will borrow books from the library. This won't be such a bad thing except many libraries have an abundance of hardcover and I like to carry around softcover. Also, I'm not going to bake cookies for others if I'm not using organic ingredients. I may have to make an exception to the organic rule, and continue to bake for others. Of course if I have another job then I won't have time anyway. I won't have time to read or knit or bake or anything. I may make friends, though :) This plan is only for a year from November 1, 2007 until October 31, 2008. I really shouldn't hurt others. In other words I'm not destitute, and I actually have a good life, just need to be more financial responsible, and this is the way. Leave my credit cards at home. Live on running, and library books. I wonder what life will look like a year from now. I'll be greyer that's for sure, as dying my hair is a big expense.
