I drank coffee, read Neruda poetry, and listened to Coltrane jazz to get in the spirit of poetry writing this morning. I woke up feeling better than I had yesterday morning, so the day off running was good, but I guess I was so rested that I couldn't focus on poetry. That doesn't make sense, eh? Well, in order to focus, and get to the moment, I read part of a cookbook The Secrets of Jesuit Breadmaking by Brother Rick Curry, S.J. It has a really good way to get the crisp in French Bread without a professional oven. Maybe it's just not a poetry day, eh? I didn't even knit this morning. Maybe I should have :)
