I'm not drinking coffee, actually, but this seems to be the best place to put this. I figured out what will distract me from my Easter Season goals, and my poetry writing. It's knitting.
Recently, while I was drinking coffee, I was reading Pablo Neruda poetry. I think it's pretty obvious which Coffee Musings of late have been influenced by the poetry of Pablo Neruda.
Also, recently, my running has been going pretty good. The reading of poetry, and the good running are not a result of my focus, they are a result of running out of the yarn I need. I ran out of yarn February 19th. Since then I've read poetry in the morning instead of knitting. This would affect what I write in my coffee musings in the morning. Also, as there is not much to do, but read, run, or needlepoint (all good things) if I run out of yarn, getting myself to run hasn't been much of a challenge. That all changed today, though.
I finally became fed up with waiting for an owner of a yarn store to contact me via email, so I just went to the store, and voila the yarn I needed was there. As I was coming home today I felt really tired, and because of running in the night time, I haven't been eating dinner regularly recently. I was debating whether I should run, or if I was too tired. When push came to shove I decided that I was too tired to run. However, once my fingers hit those needles instead I was a happy camper. I totally psyched myself out of running because deep down I really wanted to knit. Hahahahahahaha. Oh well, so many good things to do so little time.
Actually, now that I've had Chinese Food I feel ten times better. I've been focusing on eating more fruits, but that may not be enough.
