I just baked Death by Chocolate White Chocolate Chip Cookies which are drop cookies - Yea! I used the recipe from Nancy Bagggett's The All American Cookie Book. They had a different texture than what I expected, and I think it was because of the 2 sticks of butter. I think most recipes call for less butter. They had the texture of shortbread which is why I think the texture is a butter issue. A little too sweet. Included white chocolate, a little bittersweet, and a little milk chocolate. The sweetness stood out as opposed to the flavors of the chocolates. I used callebut chocolate, and I wanted the flavor to stand out.
They are addictive though, I was through 2 without a thought. Then I put them in a tin for work. :) They would be good along with a glass of milk or almond milk.
