I woke up early to knit. It's been a while since I've done that. I plan to attend a knitting group this evening, so I wanted my hands familiar with the movements before I attended. It's like going to a book club and just preparing a little beforehand - going over the notes. Also, as it is knitting season I have to wear band-aids on my figertips so I don't stab my fingers. Ah yes, that I remember well. Since I have nieces I have kids band-aids. I'm knitting socks with the help of Dora on my left index finger :) I would recommend the Knit Picks podcast. I was working to it yesterday. I probably listened to 5 episodes yesterday. She has a measured voice, but she adds little bits of wit in there, and then I feel like everything is all normal. Just because she has the courage to do a podcast doesn't mean that she can't have a sense of humor :). I have a few books on podcasting I just haven't done it - ooops. I have the iTUNES logo already made up though!
I like to knit to jazz in the morning, and evenings. A lot of time I knit to movies, but there is something about jazz.
