I threw away the rest of my instant coffee as I think my coffee is starting to have a heaviness to it that I don't want in my life. I'll still drink cappuccinos as a treat, but I'm going to focus more on teas . . . for now :)
I threw away the drafts for three poetry projects that I started in 2006. The one that was the most intense was a poetry project inspired by cookies. I would bake cookies, and then draft a poem as they were baking or as I ate them. Each recipe was new to me. It was suppose to be finished and in final manuscipt form by tomorrow for the Yale Series of Younger Poets award. When I first started I decided to try 200 recipes, but I only got to 100 and then I didn't get near editing. Time to let go! Maybe some other time.
The sock I'm knitting now is going much better than the first sock I knit. There is no doubt in my mind it has to do with using 6 inch needles as opposed to 8 inch needles. Do NOT use 8 inch needles for socks! Eeek!
I just started to listen to Christmas music this morning, and you?
