Coffee Musings - 010708

Yesterday, while in a bit of a funk, I realized that the only thing to bring me out of it would be to bake some brownies.
This coffee cup I bought in Soufflenheim France in 1998. Isn't that great! It's my favorite coffee cup. That whole village/town smelled like a kiln. Imagine having an entire town/village devoted to or supporting a single industry. I guess that's what the auto industry and cities in Michigan are all about, eh? Anywhere there is a big plant the town was probably built around it.

Here is a breakfast of champions - Coffee, brownies, and Inspiration! Actually, I didn't eat both brownies as they were very rich. I have some apples to take with me to work, so don't worry that the writer is not healthy. I am, that's the point. I woke up early to run, and that didn't happen because it was too early. I decided that I'm not going to wake up early to run. I'll wake up early to knit or needlepoint, write poetry, or read, but running - big NO! I'm concerned that I wouldn't be able to handle the Cherry Blossom Run if I don't run in the morning. However, there are so many ways I won't be able to handle the Cherry Blossom Run, that it doesn't matter. This year is suppose to be fun. Running in the morning is not fun, so there you go.
