Coffee Musings - 061007

Today is my oldest sister's birthday. She lives in Holland, and I don't speak to her much anymore. I hope all is well in Holland.

This is blended with a cookie musings. Yesterday I baked mocha-espresso wafers from Nancy Baggett's All American Cookie Cook Book, and they are very good. These cookies are the best strategy to seduce a coffee lover :)

Sometimes with fondant or a chocolate/powdered sugar mixture, I don't really need a pastry bag to apply the fondant. If it is thin enough I can just flick it on with a fork.
