Coffee Musings - 111007

More like knitting musings :) It's good to have a couple projects going because when it's time to change the DVD I can change the entire mood of the evening by continuing a different project. I have a second sock on my #3s and I have a baby blanket on my #9 circulars. So, whether I'm watching Scrooged or Elf I'm in the right mood. It's like wearing the right jewelry for the right shirt. I have kick ass jewelry I must admit.

Yesterday I was on a site for people with congenital heart diseases. It's a UK site that someone referred me to. There's even a little section for those with Tetralogy of Fallot like me :). There weren't that many stories, I guess only the ones with problems would tell their stories, but the ones that did post were totally KICK ASS! One even had a baby. I'm like, I'm not out of breath, mine's not as bad as that. I never fainted from my heart (just from back pain, but I bought a new bed, and no more pain.) So, I'm KICK ASS, too! It was totally reaffirming. Some people were misdiagnosed, and it just reiterates that we have to honor our own feelings. If I'm not out of breath, if I can walk/run a long ways, then fuck it! I'm healthy! It was great to read their stories. :)
